hand wire unwrapping tools are available for gauges 20 through 32
AWG. We offer four types of hand unwrapping tools depending on customer
requirements. Type A allows the operator to unwrap the wire within
the unwrapping sleeve without exposing the bare wire to any other
contacts. Type B is similar to type A, except it is bi-directional;
it still retains the wire Inside the unwrapping sleeve. Type C allows
the operator to unwrap the wire in one direction only and the wire
will spiral out and away from the pin. Type D is similar to type C
except that It will handle both unwrapping directions. Type C and
TYPE D are our least expensive and most popular hand unwrapping tools. |

A (679-682): These tools have a spring loaded insulated
sleeve for ease of wire pick-up and removal of close connections
without damaging the terminal or adjacent connections. |
Type
B (684): This tool is designed to unwrap tight matrices
where a slim profile is required. Unwrapping can be done in
either direction, with the wire being retained in the sleeve
and removed from the pin. |

C (690, 691): This tool has a spiral design to give clear
visibility and to allow delicate operator control in one direction
only. |
Type
D (692, 693): This tool has a spiral at both ends which
allows unwrapping in either direction with clear visibility
and also allow delicate operator control. |
