Standard Pneumatic is the leader in wire wrapping bits and sleeves for every application. They are long lasting and designed to provide high quality connections. Many additional or special designs can be supplied on request to meet particular requirements. Follow this link for additional information on the techniques of wire wrapping.

Our Cut, Strip and Wrap Bits are designed to cut the insulated copper wire to length, strip free the necessary length of insulation, and wrap the correct number of wire loops around the terminal pin.

Types of Wrap Available
(S) Standard Wrap - Only the bare wire is wrapped around the terminal.
(M) Modified Wrap - The first one-half to two turns are made with insulation wrapped around the terminal. These turns are in addition to the recommended turns of bare wire. This process increases the ability of the connection to withstand vibration and reduces wire breakage.

Cut, Strip and Wrap
Standard Pneumatic is the recognized leader in wire wrapping products, and our bits and sleeves are used throughout the telecommunication and electronic industries. Our Cut, Strip and Wrap Bits are designed to cut the insulated copper wire to length, strip free the necessary length of insulation, and wrap the correct number of wire loops around the terminal pin. They perform these three functions in a rotating operation, and can be used with a pneumatic, electric, or battery-powered wire wrapping tool. CS & Ws cannot be used with models 6012, 6022, 6072, 6082 and 6312. The cutting and stripping blades are hardened to ensure long life, and can be used for either right or left handed operation. Please contact our factory to arrange for a demonstration or to discuss any special application with our trained personnel. The tool is warranted for 3,000 wraps, and only for manufacturers defects. Normal wear and/or misuse of the tool is not covered under warranty.

Recommended for use with Tefzel and PVC insulated type wire.  Please contact JDV for details.

Four Steps to a CSW Wire Wrapped Connection
Bits and sleeves are sold as a matched and qualified set. Should a Bit or Sleeve become unservicable, it is recommended that the set be returned to the factory. For a nominal charge, a new Bit or Sleeve will be mated to the servicable part and the new set will be requalified.

  • The Closed-Face CSW line will be discontinued once inventory is depleted
  • Limited stock available. Please contact JDV for stock check before ordering
