The 4750 preset hand torque screwdriver was designed for the customer
who desires a precision manual torque tool which has an overall
accuracy of ±3%. The design incorporates a bi-directional, ball-type
clutch mechanism with working torque range of 0.2-12.0 in lbs (.02-1.35Nm).
The 4750 comes in a powder-coated blue housing. Each tool comes
with five colored bands (yellow, blue, red, green and orange) for
torque value identification. The ergonomically designed handle fits
comfortably into the operator's hand for ease of operation. This
model come with a 1/4" female hexagon drive, and an adapter is available
for conversion to 1/4" male square drive (P/N 20191) for use with
sockets. The tools were designed for the manufacturing engineer
who wants to randomly check finishing torque values on the line
or for the Q.A. who is checking the final torque on a finished product.
The tools are also being used in low-volume assembly where the cost
of a motorized tool is not practical but the need for precise torque
values is still required. The 4750, like our pneumatic power tools,
are manufactured in our U.S. plant.
